Family Portrait Guide (For Any Gender)

Colors

Let's make sure we stick with one color scheme! Pick one color that will go well along with where we will be shooting your photos. Once you have that color picked out, pick similar colors that won't clash or distract from the others there are a few examples below.

Patterns

AVOID STRIPES! Some patterns that are always a good go-to for me are either plain colors or floral patterns, just be careful on the color choice of the floral patterns just so its not too many colors.

Layers?

Layers are always an option, a cardigan with any solid color tops looks good on anyone! Just make sure the colors work together. Some good choices are a cardigan, jean jacket, or a sweater. Also depends on weather and what you're comfortable with.

Shoes

It all depends on where we are taking the photos and the weather outside. But some examples can be:

Summer/Spring:

Woman: Some strappy sandals or some wedges.

Men: Some simple canvas tennis shoes or a solid color shoe.

Winter:

Woman: Simple boots with fuzz on the inside.

Men: Hightop boots or shoes.

Fall:

Woman: High Topped boots with heels.

Men: Brown canvas shoes or black.

Also doesn't have to be too fancy at all I want you to be comfortable especially with the shoes you're wearing. Also with having kiddos I want them to be as comfortable as they can be as well.

Single Portrait Guide (For Any Gender)

Colors

Choose any color you want! Just make sure your top goes well with your bottoms and shoes. A single person in the shoot is a bit easier to make a nice cohesive outfit for your photos.

AVOID STRIPES! Some patterns that are always a good go-to for me are either plain colors or floral patterns. For a single person its a lot easier to deal with more of a "crazy" pattern but we got to make sure it works well with the background you're choosing.
